A NEW DIRECTION
The Kresy-Siberia Group and On Eagles' Wings have morphed into something bigger and better.
Most of our energy is now being chanelled into the Kresy-Siberia Foundation which is building a Virtual Museum
of the World War Two experiences of the Polish citizens who endured the Soviet occupation of the eastern provinces in 1939
and the subsequent re-occupation, by the Soviet Union, of all of Poland in 1944-45.
In time, the Virtual Museum will be expanded to include the full World War Two history of Poland.
The Kresy-Siberia Virtual Museum was launched on September 17, 2009 in Warsaw, Poland and simultaneously in
many cities around the world. Visit the Museum at http://www.kresy-siberia.org (it may periodically be down for construction) and watch it grow over the next few years.
If you would like more information or to get involved, join the Group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/kresy-siberia.
We need help in collecting information and interviewing the survivors. We need individuals and corporate
sponsors to provide funding; fund-raisers and public relations specialists to help the Museum grow; lawyers and accountants to
manage the Foundation; computer literate individuals to help with the organization and entry of data, photos and documents
and translators to translate the vast amount of Polish information into English.
Sister websites include http://felsztyn.tripod.com and http://felsztyn.tripod.com/germaninvasion.
This new awareness of the Polish experience during World War Two is catching on throughout Canada, the United
States, Great Britain and elsewhere. The children will not allow this history to be forgotten.
